How safe are the teeth whitening strips you buy at the drug store?

My teeth aren’t bad, but I’d like a whiter smile. I’ve thought about those whitening strips, do they work well? Are they safe? I’m wondering if anyone has had bad experiences with them.

i’ve used the crest white strips twice. they work great! they are much cheaper now than when I used them when they first came out.
the only negative thing I have to say about them, is that they left alot of my teeth sensitive to hot and cold. still to this day

I used the crest white strips and I am pregnant. I noticed results in 2 days and they are totally safe!!
ummm well they do work exellent but someone told me the reason they whiten is because they remove a layer of enamle.
they may make your teeth a little more sensitive, if so use an appropriate toothpaste. i advise going to the dentist to have them done though because even though it costs more, they become whiter and stay white for longer.
Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries but certain precautions have to be taken. I found the information at
